The mission of our workshop at Mahodari platform is to develop engaged students through intensive educational and psychological opportunities within the context of a liberal arts environment, promoting them as both collaborative as well as agents for change within society.
Therapeutic use of drama is the only methodology of Mahodari Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. Typically, it encompasses concepts such as paradigm, theoretical model, phases and quantitative or qualitative techniques with best practices applied to a specific case to obtain a specific result. In our workshops we emphasize on Play therapy which is a method of meeting and responding to the mental health needs of children and is extensively acknowledged by our psychology experts as an effective and suitable intervention in dealing with children’s brain development. Children’s experiences and knowledge are often communicated through play, it becomes an important vehicle for them to know and accept themselves and others. Our team of experts in workshop use Play therapy as a tool for diagnosis and for counseling or psychotherapy so as to communicate with and help people, especially children, to prevent or resolve psychosocial challenges. We help them towards better social integration, growth and development, emotional modulation, and trauma resolution.
We use drama therapy in a wide variety of settings, including hospitals, schools, mental health centers, prisons, and businesses. Drama therapy, as a modality of the creative arts therapies, exists in many forms and can be applicable to individuals, couples, families, and various groups.
Mahodari Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. regularly works with schools and colleges in Noida and around Delhi NCR. Our working methods are very flexible so that our workshops fit in easily with school timetables. We also have considerable experience working with young people with behavioural difficulties.
PRIMARY SCHOOLS
Mahodari Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. training and workshops are a brilliant way to infuse media and creativity into learning programmes at primary schools. We train with easy to use cameras and editing software so that children can engage in all aspects of the film making process. Our popular workshops include short tasters and script to screen workshops. Our focused programme offers students the opportunity to improve language and literacy skills through film making.
SECONDARY SCHOOLS
Mahodari Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. workshops are perfect for secondary schools to enhance students’ film and media literacy. Our workshops tie into several subjects, especially Computer Science, English, History, Media, Drama, and Art. Drama students respond well to Script to Screen workshops. We enable them to develop creative writing and performance skills for screen. Art students enjoy our animation workshops which inspire them to use their drawing, model making and craft skills in a different way. Our workshops provide an excellent addition to Media Studies building up awareness and understanding of film genre, criticism and constructs as well as developing professional skills on the latest digital equipment.
COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES
Our workshops are an excellent springboard for students to develop their skills for future training, education and employment. We work with colleges to create ‘Script to Screen and Online Media workshops.
The emphasis is on fresh ideas, strong narrative, original plots across different genres, plotting fresh trails, which are commercially viable.
OUTREACH PROGRAMMES:
The focus of our instructors and trainers is to explore different ways of interacting with students through this art structure rather than teaching. Mahodari epitomizes vision of humanity as one family nurturing child/subject mental health. We have an interactive session on “adolescent health” concentrating on the physiological, psychological, cognitive and social changes during adolescence and its management at our various programs followed by subsequent sessions of our experts.
Our Goals
For our majors, we combine quality pre-professional training with a solid academic core in order to prepare our students for a variety of careers: from entry-level positions in theatre, film, and dance, to opportunities in a variety of fields requiring solid communication and collaborative skills.
For our departmental minors and general education students, we offer academic and workshop opportunities designed to acquire knowledge and skills specific to both the field and to their general knowledge, as well as the chance to engage in a variety of productions.
For our audience, both the university community and beyond, we provide wide-ranging, exciting seasons of quality theatre that serve both to entertain and educate, focused ultimately on a greater understanding of the human experience.

CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Mahodari Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. has extensive experience training teachers to enable them to incorporate film making and new media into their teaching.
Often schools and colleges choose to run a workshop session for teachers or coincide continuing professional development (CPD) with after school film clubs. Mahodari Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. runs tailored lesson planning for teachers in ideas development, story boarding, and camera and editing skills. Mahodari Entertainments Pvt. Ltd. a unique collaboration between the media aspirants and professionals provide interactive sessions with artists and experts, workshops and other events. Workshops are conducted by professional filmmakers from Mahodari Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. When they’re not producing high quality commissioned films and online content, they’re working with schools, art galleries and museums to enable people to make their own films.

At least once a year our team travel to countryside in search of new talent. What they're in the market for obviously depends upon what particular show they're casting, however, Kuldeep explains: "We're always on the lookout for exceptional tap dancers as well as performers who can both sing and dance—they just don't exist in India."

We support world-class live-action, documentary and animated feature films, as well as cross-platform projects which have a feature film at their core. We’re always looking for unique stories, which speak to a variety of different audiences (particularly those under-represented in mainstream cinema), which is at the heart of everything we do.
We encourage recipients of our development funding to build demand for their project from the earliest stages of development. We work with filmmakers on Inclusion plans and, we offer audience-testing, brand-extension and networking opportunities at key junctures in the development of your film.
Film making teams applying for development funding should be able to evidence previous experience in writing, directing and producing. Less experienced talent or talent without a producer should ordinarily refer to our OPEN FORUM TALENT NETWORK.

We have a remit to help to develop a film sector in Delhi NCR and maximise the economic, educational and cultural benefits of film.
We support Indian writers, Directors & Producers with development and Production funding, Industry assistance and mentoring opportunities. We aim to bring film makers and audiences together by encouraging more people to see more films in more venues. We also promote the use of film in education and community regeneration, producing educational resources in conjunction with teachers to aid literacy and general learning.
PRODUCTION
Mahodari Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. supports feature film projects with production and completion funding. We prioritise feature film projects involving an India born or based writer, Director or Producer but we will consider feature films with significant Indian cultural value or opportunities for Indian talent.
Wemake 3-6 production or completion award a year. We support world-class Live- action, Documentary and animated feature films, as well as cross-platform projects which have a feature film at their core. We’re always looking for unique stories, which speak to a variety of different audiences (Particularly those under – represented in mainstream cinema), and which have well-developed plans in place for reaching those audiences. Mahodari Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. is seeking to help foster production and / or Distribution companies with a strong sense of identity which is dedicated to develop strong film projects and nurturing distinctive Indian talent. Successful companies will be able to demonstrate their desire to work with partners in the nation and internationally; their ability to leverage finance and have a clear sense of Direction for building a sustainable business. This should include clear thinking around how to maximize the value developed from their intellectual property and early consideration of identifying and developing tailored audience reach strategies in today’s marketplace.

These include camcorders, HD SLR cameras, tablets and professional cinema cameras. We use software that is both professional and accessible for first time filmmakers. So, for post-production we use latest Apple products – iMovie and FCPX, and for stop motion animation.

Our sound studio is a full service recording geared for mixing and mastering, film and video post production and audio preservation and transfer.We provide production facilities and support services for projects involving music in its many forms, audio art, radio art, performance art, Theatre dance, film, video, poetry and installation art, as well as cultural institutions who utilize audio for educational and outreach programs.
